Steven Tsvetkov, Technical Trainer at Telerik Academy, was included in the prestigious Forbes Bulgaria “30 Under 30” annual list for his substantial contribution to the Telerik Academy mission - to prepare the next generation of digital leaders.
The prestigious selection celebrates the young visionaries and disruptors in Bulgaria. We are proud to share that since the launch of the national selection, Telerik Academy has always had a graduate or a representative featured. In fact, in 2017 we set a record having three of our alumni selected – Anton Sotirov, COO in Tickey, Daniel Georgiev, Founder of Iris, and Doncho Minkov, Technical Trainer and speaker.

This year, after reviewing more than 100 nominations Forbes Bulgaria and an expert jury committee selected the young leaders who bring positive change and disrupt industries. Steven Tsvetkov was nominated in the Education category for his work at Telerik Academy. After starting to code at the age of 17, he successfully graduated from our software engineering program and launched his IT career.
In 2016, Steve joined Telerik Academy’s team, helping students and professionals from different fields join the leading industry in Bulgaria and transform their lives. Since the founding of Telerik Academy in 2009, more than 13,500 people have participated in our onsite trainings and over 51,000 learners have used our online resources.
We continue to be hard at work, helping young people and professionals upskill or re-skill and jumpstart their IT careers.
It took Georgi Manchev just 2 weeks to land his dream job in IT after graduating from Telerik Academy Alpha. But he hasn’t always been on the right track to a promising tech career. Prior to joining the program, Georgi worked as a waiter and bartender and had no coding experience at all. During the intensive 6-month training, he was equipped with the knowledge and skills companies look for and joined Experian as a Junior Software Engineer.
