He decided to pursue a career in the IT sector, which provides a more dynamic work environment and more opportunities for professional development. With the help of Telerik Academy, Martin switched his career focus and is now a software developer.
New career start
Martin landed a job immediately after the end of his Telerik Academy studies. He impressed interviewers with his in-depth understanding of programming. Today, he is part of DataCore Software, a global technology company with a focus on hardware virtualization.
"My primary responsibility is to look for solutions to emerging problems and to explore how we can improve product behavior. That's exactly what motivates me do the best I can at work," says Martin.
The right choice of training
Telerik Academy was recommended to Martin by a close friend who graduated from the program.
"I made the right choice by applying and joining Telerik Academy. Unlike standard university education, the program is designed in such a way that it gives ypureal business experience," Martin says.
Without previous programming experience, Martin saw switching careers as a personal challenge. The trainers in the program played a key role for the final success of his endeavor.
"I would not have done it by myself. When I faced difficulties, I turned to the trainers who were always ready to help and give advice."
Martin highly appreciates not only the trainers, but also the overall program - the tech knowledge, the practice-oriented sessions, and the opportunities to develop his personal skills.
"Every element of the program has contributed to the successful restart of my career: from the training to theteamwork projects where everyone contributes to a common end goal andthe push not to give up despite the difficulties," concludes Martin.
