We are looking for a Senior PR Specialist with a passion for education to help us realize our ambitions to empower people to jumpstart their IT career in Bulgaria and beyond.
As a Senior PR Specialist, you will play a vital role in expanding our media presence, building relationships with local and international media, growing our brand awareness and creating compelling content to promote our brand and programs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in media relations, content creation, and PR strategy while working with a team dedicated to empowering individuals through education and career transformation.
What you will be doing:

Proactively explore media opportunities and expand our brand presence in both familiar and new markets, driving awareness and engagement;

Develop and execute PR plans, and lead our PR strategy to effectively communicate our message and key offerings to target audiences;

Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage and opportunities;

Manage media inquiries and interview requests, ensuring timely responses and coordinating appropriate spokespeople;

Create engaging and insightful content for various platforms, including blog posts, articles, press releases, ghostwriting, and awards applications;

Craft messaging and communication materials to support marketing campaigns and initiatives;

Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, trainers, and program builders to gather insights and create compelling stories and content;

Conduct media monitoring and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of PR efforts and make data-driven recommendations;

Develop and maintain a media contact database and manage press lists;

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, news, and best practices in PR and content creation.

What will make you successful in this role:
- 3-5 years of experience in PR and content creation, with a focus on native content, PR strategies, media relations, and executing PR plans;
- Experience in building and executing PR campaigns, managing media relationships, and securing media coverage;
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content across various platforms and formats;
- Ability to adapt content for both Bulgarian and international audiences;
- Strong storytelling ability and a knack for finding and sharing compelling stories;
- Proficient in creating blog posts, ghostwriting, awards applications, and other PR-related materials both in Bulgarian and English;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Proactive and creative self-starter and thinker with a strategic approach to PR and content creation;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and media contacts;
- Familiarity with industry-standard PR tools and platforms.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bulgarian.
