Interested in making a leap from conventional 2D screens to innovative and emerging 3D technologies like Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR)?

In this session Georgi Atanasov and Panayot Cankov from Progress will explain what your options are and share their vision about it. They’ll demonstrate how AR and VR add immense value for human-realistic data visualization through 3D stereoscopic* displays. In addition, they’ll showcase hands-on R&D project done by Progress.


About the Speakers

Georgi Atanasov is a highly technical professional and a people manager with 15 years of experience in multiple software technologies. Ten years ago, he joined Telerik, later acquired by Progress, and he has set up and led multiple products and teams since. His latest endeavor is building a product that adds the Progress value into the augmented and virtual reality development workflow.

 

Panayot Cankov has 15 years of experience focused on UI. He has spent 9 years in Progress working on the XAML stack and the NativeScript framework. Today he is pushing forward AR/VR technologies as he is a big believer in them, along with AI/ML for being the foundation of the next generation line of business application experiences.

 

*Stereoscopic 3D is a technique that produces human-realistic sense of depth by displaying two slightly different images to the left and right eyes of the viewer. This ability is based on the characteristics of the human visual system.
